Air fryers work by circulating super-hot air around food on a rack or basket. The rapid heat circulation creates the perfect combination for crispy, crunchy meals with minimal oil or butter.
You can use less fat when cooking with an air fryer than when frying food in traditional pans or ovens without sacrificing any flavor.
Air Fryers make it easy to enjoy your favorite foods without heating up the house by using less power than other cooking methods like ovens.
Your air fryer is the perfect appliance for making frozen biscuits like these that come out crispy on the outside and fluffy inside every single time!
These simple Air Fryer Frozen Biscuits can be eaten for breakfast or as an afternoon/evening snack or side with any meal!

Healthy - since the air fryer does not need to use oil or other greasy fats to crisp your food, these biscuits are a healthier option.

Key ingredients
Frozen biscuits - you can't go wrong with pre-made dough. Just pop them in your air fryer and go! I used Pillsbury Grands Southern Style Biscuits, but any style frozen biscuits will work.
Melted butter or cooking spray - melted butter will definitely give you a better flavor, but cooking spray will add fewer calories without sacrificing the crispiness.
Instructions
Always start with clean hands, work area, and kitchen utensils.
Step One: Spray basket with oil, or brush with melted butter. Place 6 biscuits in the air fryer basket. Be sure they are spaced apart so there will be enough room for the biscuits to rise and expand.
Step Two: Brush tops of biscuits with melted butter or spray with oil. Cook for 7 or 8 minutes. Pause the air fryer and flip the biscuits over. Brush with more melted butter or spray with more oil.
Step Three: Cook for an additional 5 or 6 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown, crispy, and cooked all the way through.
Top tips
- Air fryers vary. Be sure you are familiar with your particular appliance and adjust recipe as needed.
- I used Pillsbury Grands Southern Style Biscuits. Other brands will work with the same directions if they are the same size. For smaller biscuits, reduce cooking time.
- For canned refrigerated biscuits, follow the same directions, but reduce the cooking time to 6 or 7 minutes. Turn them over and cook for another 2 or 3 minutes, or until crispy and cooked through.
- Don't crowd the basket or stack biscuits on top of each other.
- Air fryers vary so be sure you’re familiar with how yours cooks.
