These Tyson chicken fries made in the air fryer have become a staple at my house. The kids just love them. In fact, they have taken over making them because they can just dump them in the basket, come back 10 minutes later and they are ready to eat.
I think they are a great way to make a salad more fun and appealing for those picky eaters who don't really enjoy vegetables. Plus, air frying part of our meal makes dinner come together in a snap.
I like to have a bag of these chicken fries and some Tyson wings on hand for those hungry unexpected guests that like to pop in unannounced.
If you're looking for something different than chicken tenders and want a snack with just the right amount of crispy breading, then give these air fryer Anytizers a try!
Why you'll love it
- No prep for busy weeknights
- Healthier alternative to eating out
- Faster cooking time with an air fryer instead of a conventional oven
- Budget friendly (much cheaper than a trip to Burger King)
Ingredients
Just a bag of Tyson Anytizers Chicken Fries (I used 28 fries for this demo)
Cooking spray (optional)
Instructions
Place chicken fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket for even cooking.
Spray with avocado oil cooking spray or olive oil spray (optional).
Cook at 400 degrees F for 10-12 minutes.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Tips
I don't pre-heat the air fryer for this recipe and they cook up perfectly in 10 minutes.
I don't spray the basket first, but do spay the chicken fries to mimic that deep frying golden brown.
I don't turn the chicken fries and let the circulating hot air do all the work.
Cooking times may vary depending on your particular air fryer.
Add a minute or two to the cook time if you prefer a very crispy breading.
Cook in batches for best results.
Can I cook an entire bag of Anytizers Chicken Fries at once?
Yes, you can. But you'll need to increase the cooking time and give the air fryer basket a good shake at the halfway point.
