Refrigerator canned cinnamon rolls - I used Pillsbury brand, but you can substitute with a store brand that is particular to your grocery store.
Cooking spray - this is optional and will depend on the cooking surface of your air fryer basket. What I love about the Cosori air fryer is that the basket is non-stick.
Instructions
Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray if needed.
Pop open the tube of cinnamon rolls and carefully separate the rolls. Place them evenly spaced apart with the cinnamon side up.
Air fry at 360 degrees F for about 7-8 minutes or until desired doneness. You should have fluffy cinnamon rolls that are golden brown around the edges.
Use some silicone tipped tongs to take rolls out and place them on a plate. Spread the icing over the warm rolls.
Quick facts
You don't need to pre-heat the air fryer for this cinnamon roll recipe.
It only takes about 7-8 minutes to make perfectly cooked cinnamon rolls in the air fryer.
Top tips
- I used the Cosori XL air fryer to make the recipe. It's great for a family of four.
- Cooking times can vary depending on the size of your air fryer. There are so many different brands and sizes available, and they will all cook a bit differently.
- Check you cinnamon rolls at the 6 minute mark and see how they are coming along. When adding more cook time, it's best to add in one minute increments because cinnamon rolls can brown quickly.
- I don't find it necessary to use aluminum foil to make the recipe since it's not messy.
- You can use a piece of parchment paper if desired. These pre-cut parchment paper liners made especially for the air fryer are the best!
How to store
Store leftover cinnamon rolls at room temperature for a day or two. You can keep them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for longer, about 5 days.
Rewarm in the microwave for best results.
