Ingredients
1
cup
mayo
3
tablespoon
sweet or dill pickle relish
¼
cup
ketchup or French dressing
2
tablespoon
minced onions
2
teaspoon
white vinegar
2
teaspoon
sugar
½
teaspoon
salt
optional, taste sauce first before adding
Instructions
Combine all ingredient in a small bowl.
Mix well until smooth using a whisk.
If you prefer a smoother texture, mix in a blender or food processor.
Keep in a covered container until ready to use.
Notes
You can skip the sugar if you are using sweet relish.
Tastes best when it's had a couple hours in the fridge. Plan to make the sauce ahead of time.
Leftovers last a long time. Store leftover sauce in the fridge in an airtight container for two or three weeks.
A glass jar or container works best so there's no transfer of flavors.
