Pour some salt onto a plate. Be sure your plate is big enough for the rim of your glass.
Take a lime or orange wedge and run it over the rim of a margarita glass (or whatever glass you're using).
Turn the glass upside down on the salt and wiggle it a little to coat the edge of the glass.
Add tequila, Grand Marnier, fresh lime juice, fresh orange juice, and agave nectar to a cocktail shaker. Add a handful of ice, shake back and forth for about 10 seconds.
Add plenty of ice cubes to your glass and pour the shaken Texas margaritas over. Garnish with lime wedge and orange slice. Serve immediately.

Can I make this ahead?Mix all ingredients together and keep the margarita mixture in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours ahead. Don't add any ice until ready to serve.Tips
